Firsthand member experiences
A TugMaps member review must describe the member’s own experience. The submission form requires the author to confirm that the report is firsthand.
Editorial transparency
These standards explain where reviews come from, how they are displayed, and what happens when content is reported.
A TugMaps member review must describe the member’s own experience. The submission form requires the author to confirm that the report is firsthand.
Reviews submitted directly to TugMaps are labeled as member reviews. Authorized third-party reviews are labeled as originally posted on a partner platform.
The platform does not write fictional customer experiences or alter a review to change its meaning.
Signed-in users can report spam, non-firsthand reports, harassment, private information, listing errors, and urgent safety concerns.
Reports enter the moderation queue. Urgent safety reports receive priority, and implicated member content may be held while it is reviewed. Other reports are evaluated against these standards and the available information.
A rating or review is an author’s opinion, not a TugMaps endorsement of a business or service.
Use the report control on the relevant listing, review, or comment. For inaccurate business details, follow the listing correction process.
